    Forgot bittering hops

get some isohop. I think grain and grape sell it. a few ml to bitter a keg. edit: yes they sell it here. I think this will solve the issue.

    Little Creatures Pale Ale

It was my first introduction to an American pale ale. I wanted to be "cool" by drinking it but I used to remember thinking "this is so *#@( bitter!" Now it's pretty easy drinking :) I feel like with the recent brand update on the taps and bottles they may have tweaked the recipe again too. I...

    Little Creatures Pale Ale

Thanks! Looks like there is more than one way to arrive at the same end product. Bit of a return to the early 2000's talking about cloning this beer. It was the first extract with steeping recipe i ever tried.

    Little Creatures Pale Ale

    Best Honey for brewing?

I just did a honey vienna lager with 500ml of a light blue gum honey. I added it at high krausen and it turned out delicious with a strong but good honey aroma and flavor. I thin k 1kg would be too much - my base beer was 3.5% and it came out at over 5% so a kilo would make a potent brew that...

4 pines pale ale recipe AG

I have been sizing up the following recipe which is inspired somewhat by the 4 pines pale ale. Mostly in terms of the significant malt character that it has. I haven't tried to match the hops which are clearly labelled on the bottle; I just happen to have chinook and citra handy. I would be...

    Poor efficiency from old grain?

I have a grain father and I find efficiency can vary greatly depending on how you stir in the grain. For example, if I just pour in as much grain as I can before it starts to float on the surface and then pile up on the surface, and then stir it in, I will get a really fast sparge and low...
