    What to brew

Us-05, Nottingham if you like a drier beer, m42 would suit. Plenty of other dry yeast options too. Just something neutral . M42 would be my pick.

    Hilary or Donald

Crikey! Lots of Chicken Littles on here. One ******* brokers arms deals with some of the most brutal, terrorist supporting regimes on earth and gets millions in campaign funding from those countries .The other ******* wants a closer relationship with a longtime rival . Terribly simplified...

    Enigma hops, where to buy.

Received this back. Hi Adrian, Love the feedback – it’s a killer hop! Are you based in Tasmania? Sorry to say we came in short on this years’ harvest, so we prioritised the commercial brewers. Fingers crossed for a bumper in 2017, and then we’ll push it out into the homebrew channels...

    Daylight Slaving starts tonight

After a long day working in the blazing hot Aussie summer sun, what do Cockroaches and Mexicans want? More time in the blazing hot Aussie summer sun of course . Personally I can't wait till 8 pm or so for the sun to go down and the relative cool of the evening . Glad my parents moved north when...

    kerr non alcoholic thread.

Really depends on what frequency your strings are vibrating at and whether you're using larger or smaller infinities. If I were you, I'd just transfer a bit out of one jar into the other to even them up if it's worrying you. Edit- And ffs make sure you don't allow any extra dimensions to...

Mangrove Jack's Strawberry & Pear Cider stuck at 1.020

Yep. You're onto it. Have a look at the base of the hydrometers "handle " (if you haven't already ) and it will have a temperature reading to calibrate at. Every one I've ever owned says 20c, but apparently some are different . Sounds like that's not your problem though . Edit- Spelling .

    Huell Melon Lager

I made a faux lager with them a few months ago. Was a very nice beer but lacked any of the flavour /aroma descriptors . Cutting back on the Magnum and going big ,late with the Huell Melon might give a better show with this one.Very mild. Edit- one l in melon ,doh!

    Enigma hops, where to buy.

Anyone know where to buy some of these tasty blighters. They're quite unique and I would have thought they'd be all the rage with Aussie brewers . Tried some in the Moo Brew SMaSH a few months back..mmm..
