    Grain father v robobrew

Under Australian consumer law I have greater protections than that one year warranty, that goes for both the GF and the Robobrew. Given the Guten is imported by you can you be sure of the same protections?

    20 litre Braumeister - Melbourne

Are you sure he hasn't confused the new Grainfather conical with a Braumeister?

    Whats In The Glass (commercial)

For research purposes I swear, BJCP tasting exam coming up fast. The Fantome though will also be added to my existing Fantome bug farm and make an appearance in my next saison.

Comment by 'paulyman' in media 'amber Ale'

For context, I added a cube of over gravity amber ale to my brew bucket and poured 5L of water in to bring it to the correct SG, then I added the yeast and Tilt without mixing. So the Tilt registered an OG of 1.012 due to the density gradient and once fermentation kicked in and began mixing it...

nsw mid year case swap 17 june 2017

So after the double IPA disaster of 2017, I chucked a cube of Amber Ale waiting patiently in the pipeline into the brew bucket along with 5L of water to get my target volume and OG. I then threw in the yeast and Tilt hydrometer and sealed it all up. Here is the Tilt data: As you can see the...

I'd like to say yes, but probably just user error combined with 200g+ of dry hops.

Well thanks to the second ****** siphon in a few moths I have lost another batch. I'm gutted, this IPA was probably the best beer I've ever made and it all ended up down the drain. Trying to put down a simple amber tonight, hopefully ferments out in time.

    New Grainfather Conical Fermenter

The prices I've seen are: $740 for the conical. $140 for the dual valve tap. $90 for the temperature controller. $1430 for the glycol chiller. Those prices put it at a similar price to the BME chronical 7. The SSBrewtech glycol unit doesn't seem to ever be coming to Aus as far as I have heard...

Glycol/Iced Water (aquarium chiller and stc?)

I think it's the fact the cooling water is being cooled indirectly by the kegerator. If the cooling coils were in direct contact with the cooling water it would be much more efficient.

How do you package your Sours?

The Berliner will be fine either way if it was kettle soured and just had sacc in primary. For beers with Brett and bacteria you need to take a bit more care. If you bottle then use champagne bottles to lessen the risk of bottle bombs. If you keg then be prepared to dedicate a beer line and...

Glycol/Iced Water (aquarium chiller and stc?)

Hi Chris, I have a brew bucket with FtSS which runs from a keg of water in my kegerator. The kegerator is in the back room set at 2C. Our house is quite old and uninsulated, so in summer it was hitting 34C back there and at the moment is ranging from 5 to 15 each day, big swings. During summer...

Brewed mine today. First non-funky brew for quite a while. Went easy and brewed an imperial IPA with 200g of hops in the boil! The GF pump and I are no longer friends... 1. Barls- something with fatz in mind. fermenting now. 2. Paulyman - Imperial IPA (8%) 3. Fungrel - Oh crap i forgot about...

    Whats In The Glass

Didn't have much time to brew last year or over the summer even, so bought a few FWK to get me through. This was a RyePA but it finished a touch too high for my liking and had a mild sulphur aroma which got in the way of an otherwise nice beer. Threw some of my gen2 Brett saison dregs in before...
