What are you Brewing - 2018

Going to brew this on Monday to keep my APA keg flowing: 70% Ale 21% Munich 5.5% Crystal 50 3% Acidulated The malt bill is copied from the Home Make It Session APA FWK. Thought I'd try something new. I usually do a bill based on 'the electric pale ale' here...

WTB - Growler filler fitting for Intertap

That might be a bit overkill for me, but cool nonetheless!

Random brewing gear FS, Vic outer SE

I may be interested in the malt pipe and filter. Will PM you. Edit: Disregard. Realised it's too big for my needs. Good luck.

WTB - Growler filler fitting for Intertap

I don't have flow control, so good advice. I'll just shut the pressure off at the manifold for the pour. Cheers!

All good advice. I'll test it out with just the hose.

WTB - Growler filler fitting for Intertap

Freezer doesn't cause any issues? I have the same growler and it specifically says not to put it in the freezer?

    WTB - font fan (Melbourne)

I might have a home made font fan and I definitely have a two tap font (no taps). Can easily be made into a 3 tap one. I'll check and get back.

WTB - Growler filler fitting for Intertap

Hi. I just got my hands on a growler and want the growler filler fitting for my intertaps. Thought I'd check here to see if anyone in my area has one before either driving across town to Keg King or forking out for the shipping. Located in NE suburbs of Melbourne. Cheers.

    Viking Malt

I use it a lot. It's great, especially for APAs. I wouldn't use it as a sub for marris otter though as it's not quite as malty or full bodied. Price is usually pretty good though. I hear Gladfield Ale is a good sub for MO.

White Labs WLP059 Melbourne Ale yeast to be released

Finally drinking my crack at the 1917 Tooths Whitehorse that I brewed recently with the 059. It's pretty good! There's a lot of flavour that I think is yeast driven. It's tricky to find where the hops flavour ends and the yeast begins (or vice versa). Like I mentioned in an earlier post; this...

    Weldless Keggle Setup Conversion Kits

I've got an electric keggle and apart from the initial gear I picked up from Keg King (sight glass, element, thermometer), the rest I found on ebay and aliexpress. There's heaps of weldless brew fittings on those sights. Just search with keywords '1/2 BSP stainless brew 'and you'll find a lot of...

How to Culture & Harvest Commercial Yeast from a Beer Bottle

I was googling for a list like this only yesterday! Nice work!

    KegLand.com.au... whata ya got?

Obviously not all stock is listed yet, but I like the website format. Much easier to use than the sites of a few major competitors.
