    Hi Everyone!

Hi Nada. I'm a cealiac as well but am able to drink gluten reduced beer using clarity Ferm. Doesn't work for all Cealiac's though. I'm keen to try brewing some gluten free beers in the future so look forward to hearing of any gluten free ag recipe's.

    Young's Double Chocolate Stout

I'm sold mark. Added 1ml a litre to my porter and the choc flavor comes through beautiful. Was a hit with all my mates. One which works at a brewery and dissed the idea because he thought the choc flavor would be artificial but he loved it. Time to dose the second keg. Thanks again will...

    Young's Double Chocolate Stout

I only paid 6 dollars per bottle so happy with the price. I'm sure choc nibs would be much cheaper but convenience is a big selling point for me. Look forward to trying it out this afternoon. Will let you know how it goes.

    GUTEN

I've just done my 4th triple batch it the 70lt and consistently get 80percent. I do a big sparge though of about 35lts from a hlt. I am finding it a bit stressful doing the boil with 67lts in the guten though as it leaves very little head space and was wondering if it would be OK to leave out...

    GUTEN

I only put My top screen on to sparge. Helps to keep the grain bed flat and sparge water evenly spread I find.

    GUTEN

I've done 3 brews with 62lt into the fermenter with great success. 75% efficiency On the first brew and 80 plus on the second 2. I run 3 to 1 plus 9lt For the dead space under the malt pipe and then sparge While slowly lifting malt pipe with a whinch. About 5lt of boil off so there is just...

ultratap or intertap? is there a difference?

Hey will. Do you know when you will be getting the 100mm shanks in. Had a look at my shanks and they are no good As they are hollow all the way through. Want to get the black ultrataps but want the self closing spring. Have lost to much beer in the past to my daughter hitting the tap by...

    GUTEN

I stir every 10 to 15 minutes depending on what I'm up-to while brewing. I sparge as well but beersmith said I got 83% efficiency last brew. Have generally been getting around the 80% mark. Not sure where I read it but when I first got the guten someone had said that stirring regularly will...

ultratap or intertap? is there a difference?

Thanks for all the info. Think I'll be getting three of the black ultrataps. Reckon they will look pretty flash with the timber collar on the keezer. If your still watching Will - I've already got long shanks from some shity taps I brought a while ago. Will the self closing spring Work with...

ultratap or intertap? is there a difference?

Hi all. Looking to get some new taps for my keezer. Read an older thread comparing ultratap and intertap but it was a couple of years ago and was just wondering if there was anymore insight into the quality of the different taps. Really liking the black ultrataps. Look forward to hearing your...

    Kegerators

Hey Darren. Am still fairly new to AG and kegging and I only ever bottled 5 brews of beer before starting kegging but kegging is so much easier. 1. I Usually pressure ferment so can drink the beer as soon as I keg. If not then it's carbonated in 24hrs so can drink next day. 2. Don't know...

Holgate Esb Any Idea's On A Recipe

Awesome. Thank weal. Novice question though. Crystal and choc you throw in at mash out? Does that mean I mix them in with the rest of the grain after the 60min mash whilst raising temp to 75c then sparge as per usual?
