    Goodbye Bronwyn

Yeah, but like any other profession/trade/semi skilled/skilled job, there are people in all those jobs/professions who don't deserve to be paid, and some who are worth way more. Just like people you meet in the street, most are great, but there are ********* in every group.

    Goodbye Bronwyn

10+ years ago no one gave a crap what anyone did for a living or scrutinised how much they earned for it or made a judgement on whether they were "worth" that much money, or if the job they did was technically skilled or semi skilled. These days for some reason lots of people want to point the...

    Goodbye Bronwyn

Yeah exactly, and then all you need to ever do is tick a box so your kpi's are met. Doesn't matter that you know nothing about the process of the business, long as the box is ticked, then the guy above you can tick his boxes and everyone gets a bonus!. Easy Only downside is having to work...

    Smoking Meat...

Awesome mate, I'm drooling!. Mine was a fail, pretty sure. I finished it in the oven and its sitting in foil in the esky. I reckon it got too hot too quick and will be dry as, but I may as well find out. Have chicken drummies sitting in brine, they're the plan b, least I know they'll be done...

    Smoking Meat...

I ended up leaving it mate, it was too big. If I turned it, the back end would be right over the coals, unless I moved the meat itself, which I wasn't game to do. Doesn't really matter, the snake burnt out overnight! Checked it half hour ago and it was cold!. Got the oven on at 100c. Hopefully...

    Smoking Meat...

My current dilemma is this. I promised I wouldn't use smoking chunks for this. Mrs is a bit over me smoking everything. I slipped a little chunk in thinking it'd be gone before she got home. Genius I know but I left the back door open and the house smells awesome. I lit a candle and sprayed...

Brown malt always gives harsh flavour

I'm going to re do mine, but up it from 1% to 5%. And then bottle it and forget it for 12 weeks. I go nuts waiting for my Brett beers to come along so I may as well add another beer to the shelf haha.

    Goodbye Tony

Nothing more boring than listening to people compare the 12 different TV shows that they're currently watching. Seriously, get outside ffs

Any good beer pubs in gunnedah?

I think it has 2?. Currabubula, is that the little town just out of werris creek?. There's like 4 houses a school and a pub?. Either way, werris creek is a bit of a drive for a beer from Gunnedah isn't it?. Not really a local though

    Session / Lawnmower Recipe

You can just do all pils and a tiny handful of roast barley for a golden ale. Rb gives it a beautiful golden colour. 1.038-40, 20 Ibu with some late hops. I like that type of abv, and while I love mild, sometimes you want a little hop. Good luck with it, many ways to go and good info posted already

Brown malt always gives harsh flavour

Cheers guys food for thought. I do like the result but not the waiting. Will keep trying. Might try all cal chloride on next one, though as mentioned even in stout my usual 50/50 gyps/cal chloride gives fine results.
