It was a brew I've done a few times. I did two at the same time just with different yeast. Thomas cooper sparkling ale can, 1 kg ultra brew, 2x 200 gr grains, POR hop pellets. One with us-05 and the other with a Ringwood ale liquid yeast. Both fermented at 20degrees in a temp controlled fridge...

About to tip my first brew down the sink. Not sure where it went wrong but it had a horrible taste before I bottled it. I thought it might mellow out but it is definitely undrinkable. Leaves a hole in my beginning brewer supply. Time for a good soak and clean and try my first lager.

If deal falls through I would also be keen.

Thanks. I guess my main question was what temp to store the cube. So keeping it at 2 degrees is best for storage.

Bottles have been upright the whole time. It's a cooper pale ale kit, with steeped grain and hop pellets.

Hi, I haven't opened one to test yet but it's been two weeks since I bottled with drops. I have noticed that there appears to be a slight scum ring abound the neck of the bottle. Have I just not noticed this before or is this an infection. I have put one in the fridge and will taste tomorrow...

They are crown seals and the height is ok as I can just get the bottles under. I will turn some upside down to see if they leak but Ian not sure If they will Hold pressure to carbonate.

Hi. Until now I have used plastic bottles and a few swing tops. Last night I capped some bottles but noticed I could twist the lids after capping. Is this normal? I was using a bench capper

So I tried a pacific ale using Galaxy hops with dry hopping as my third brew. I made the mistake too much galaxy and have a beer which is nice on the nose, not too bad tasting but has a grassy after taste. Will this improve with age or is it as good as it will get. I think k the brew is about 6...
