    Curing meats in fermentation fridge?

I have used my fermentation fridge for pancetta and drying other meats without any significant dramas. The main difficulty as touched on in the article Mattfos has linked is maintaining humidity. My non high tech method to do this was a tea towel hung over the fridge rack with one end in a bowl...

    Kink in beer coil

I would suggest just using it. I have a similar kink in one of the coils in my Jockey box and it doesn't seem to cause any significant issues.

    Whats In The Glass (commercial)

If you get a chance whilst in Paris go to Brewberry (http://www.brewberry.fr/) as well. Good selection of beers, you can drink the beers there for the same price as take away, some tasty charcuterie etc. definitely worth a visit or two.

    Sharing Tap With Washing Machine?

I have 2 washing machines and just got a piece to do the job from bunnings. I can't find a picture at the moment but it is simply a Y shaped plastic attachment with an on/off valve on each side. I would imagine they also sell metal ones if you don't want plastic. It was either in the plumbing...

    Gassing Up 5l Party Kegs

Ok, sorry about that. Adding dextrose is going to be your safest and most feasible option. Given that you don't have them yet it is unlikely that they will be fully carbed by Sunday. I would probably not filter, add dex to carb, leave at room temp, and if you are busting to have them running on...

    Gassing Up 5l Party Kegs

From craftbrewer website: "These Party kegs come complete with built in gas discharger. Once activated the gas pressure is constant at approx 70kpa, keeping the beer in perfect condition for months" Adam.

    Whats In The Glass (commercial)

I have been in Europe for 5 months and have bought some awesome collections of beer but have been too lazy to post them in this thread. I thought perhaps I should post todays collection of what is about to be in the glass - 19 different varieties of the mikkeller single hop series beers. The...

Recipe Formulation - How Do You Do It?

I have never entered a comp with my beers, and possibly never will, but I definitely agree that having your beer assessed by experienced brewers and judges would be a good way to improve your brewing.

Recipe Formulation - How Do You Do It?

Hi guys, As one of the truly great lurkers on this forum - I have been member for over a year with minimal posts but tend to read **** on this forum for an hour a day, I thought perhaps I should get a bit more involved! I am an all grain brewer but am currently on holidays in Europe for 6...

    Immersion Heater Folk.

Yeah I have a similar one that I bought from beerbelly for $120 and it will keep a rolling boil in those volumes, but generally does need some insulation to do this. Adam.

    Rims/brewtroller Brewery Upgrade

Mate, since you are in Adelaide, you could buy the 1/2" heavy duty silicone hose from beerbelly. They don't have it on their website, but i have bought it from them before. Can't remember the per metre price, but I am sure it was less than 20 bucks (somewhere around 12-15 bucks from memory). Adam.

    Losses To Trub, Advice Needed.

No expert but from reading I have done previously (can't remember if it was on AHB or elsewhere) the recommendatios for how long to boil whirlfloc seemed to be a lot shorter than this, as longer boiling apparently decreases how effective it is. I am sure they advised <10 mins and potentially...
