    Little Creatures Pale Ale

I think some of the difficult of 'cloning' LCPA is the change in hops over the years. Like the grumpys stuff suggests initially was a combo of cascade and (EK?)goldings. Then I think it shifted to being along the lines of what Steve (brewman) posted. I think they have used galaxy over the past...

    20L braumeister plus ***NEVER USED***

I think part of the difficulty is G and G have a 10% off sale (including braumeister) once every 6 months or so. I am sure this is the time many people snap up their Braumeister. Which means you could get a brand new one for 2600 give or take.

Sugar calculator here (use chaptalization and dilution calculator - it is created for winemaking) will help you calculate it: http://web2.airmail.net/sgross/fermcalc/index.html Re: biab mash out. Depends on how you are adding heat to your mash tun (or if you can for that matter). If you can...

What are you brewing in 2017 ?

I think you could definitely get away with a more simplified grain bill. It depends a little what flavour profile you are after. I prefer black (I)IPAs without a lot of roast or chocolate flavours (really just an IPA in flavour which looks darker), and am biased against chocolate malt in...

Force carbonation: lots of head pressure, still flat beer

I think it is going to be overcarbed for sure. Dropping the temp is just going to make the overcarbonation worse and mean you have to purge more gas later. If it is rushing out of the tap then gas is getting in and will be in the beer. Seems counterintuitive with a flat seeming beer I know but I...
