    Bohemian Pilsner

Did my first decoction, a double, on a Czech pale lager a couple of months ago. Surprisingly easy and didn't drag things out noticeably. It was a bit weird taking mash out of a braumeister to put it in a pot on the stove but.....

    Valve for disposable oxygen cylinder

Have a read of this thread and the other I link to in one of my posts, #5 or #15. Should clarify the two different regs for the disposable bottles sold at Bunnings over the last few years. http://aussiehomebrewer.com/topic/83564-tradeflame-930ml-oxygen-cylinder/

    Oxygen Options In Australia?

Yep the above is what I use and works well.

Mmm....Is the Gov starting to crackdown on distilling ?

Cost benefit people. The excise missed out on is not worth the effort. ATO and other Commonwealth law enforcement are probably too busy with other stuff to worry about backyard stills or homebrew beer. Priorities dictate resources. I am more surprised about a lack of attention re 'essential oil'...

    sydney

Dove and Olive, Keg and Brew also within spitting distance of the Albert and have great tap lists. Dove and Oilve also have good tucker. As does the Albert. Surry Hills has plenty of choices within an easy walk. As mentioned the Bitter Phew is pretty awesome too
