    Ok guys, I filled my system with water to discover a number of leaks..d'oh. Actually the leaks are almost anywhere that a Stainless valve, nipple, elbow etc joins with another stainless piece. I am thinking that I should buy some Silicon washers or something similar, is this the best course...

    Hi again guys, What is the process of running the pump? Does it need liquid in it before i turn it on? Would it require oil? I just turned it on and it made a high pitched screech am I turned straight off. I have had it for about a year but never used it. Cheers guys

    Sorry should have mentioned that I use a SS pot. I did use a camping mat b4 but mates staffy got into it. The air-cell stuff is nice and shiny and I think would work better. Cheers Carl

    The controller came from a plastic bucket type mash tun thingy (electro-brim) i just removed it from the bucket and have attached a different element. No idea on the specs...I'm a little aprehensive about it and will probably replace it to be honest. Cheers Carl

    OG of 1.020 Fermented for 6 days with Dry Yeast (weistephaner? w47/70 or the like) ferment stuck so added dry envyme and another satchet of dry yeast(can't remember what...was to be for a leffe blonde style beer) has been another 4 days.

    I have a gravity reading of about 1.010 based on the refractometre reading of about 2.5. Bubbling is very slow (1 per min) and I am keen to bottle now as very busy rest of week. How much further could it possibly drop and is there any chance that my bottles (500ml German Wheatbeer) explode?

    Cheers for the instructions. I think the wiring will have to be altered a little based on the diagram. There appears to be wires from the 220vAC side across to the load side. We thought this was internal. Cheers again Warren
