Dry Hop Temperature - Different Flavours?

Only new to brewing but I noticed a massive difference in flavour when whirpooling with galaxy only . I seemed to get way more flavour and aroma that lasted the whole keg when adding whirpool hops at 70c compared to flameout . Havent tried whirlpooling at 50 so interesting that you noticed a...

new to kegging - carbonation time

It takes a little trial an error , Grott technique is a great starting point to try . I have slightly changed it now after a few kegs . I use my foot to roll back and forwards gently but for a little longer usually about 2 minutes 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Leave for a couple of hours and bleed...

    Whats In The Glass

No everything the same only thing I noticed from my notes is I had trouble aerating the wort . I usually use a mega fine sieve that really aerates the wort well and my fermentations fire up quickly. I had bugger all froth on this brew . But checking next day it fired up like all other brews All...

temp control wiring question (not an STC)

Being a sparky mate your wiring either way is the same . As stated by evoo4u your most likely issue is that you have exceeded the rating of your controller switch with your two elements. An easy way to know your max wattage is Volts x amps so you already know that your voltage is 240v so if your...
