Its finished and it is great. If you like them funky, 28C will get you there without any nasties... Hmmm - I wonder what 30C would do...

I've pushed mine to 28 - its going gangbusters... I'll report back re flavours once I've given it another try, but the smell in the fermenting fridge is awesome...

Any advances on this? Brewing tomorrow - thinking I'll ferment warm - 26C or so... Any other suggestions?

Gentlemen, Caps were "posted" with Officeworks today. FYI, they didn't weigh any of the bags... Half-baked - I got the weights for the caps to Sydney wrong, so there are 2 bags coming to you. Hope that's OK There are 500 caps in each of the internal bags. Hope that makes sense. Any problems...

Why Mark? I did tweak the recipie a bit given I used cumquats in syrup rather than an orange in one of them. BUT, given the specific gravity noted (1.169 and 1.105) it seems to me that the (baker's) yeast will die off (it seems to have a tolerance of between 12-14% ABV) before the sugars are...

OK...they've arrived and have been sorted into 500 cap bags. Each bag of 500 weighs just over 1kg... As previously noted, Officeworks can post them (https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/c/office-supplies/mail-packaging/mailman-parcel-delivery) but not to "PO Boxes, Private & Locked...

Mine went down earlier in the week... One orange, one cumquat Orange OG 1.105 (25 Brix) Cumquat a massive OG 1.169 (38 Brix) They will both need watering down once the initial feeding frenzy has died down a little...obviously. I'll monitor until ferment ceases, check SGs and then split...

Let me know when you can offer milled grain...I prefer to buy locally, but if I buy a mill ATM, her indoors will string me up...
