Keg King ROBOBREW 35L SINGLE VESSEL BREWERY

Hi Bob, I've been researching the Robobrew recently and came across this helpful video for water and wort calculations from Gash on YouTube I believe he's made a decent Beersmith profile for the Robobrew too, might be able to find it on his cellardweller forum? I'm thinking the Robobrew is...

    Basic Calculations For Partial-Mash Recipes

Too easy guys, it's gone in the bin. I'm currently working on a partial mash recipe with one of the old Coopers IPA cans. Will post up soon for circulation

    Saison headache

Interesting Nattydstar. I've had this happen after one pot glass of a 9% Baltic Porter. The headache was hitting me within a few hours. No other alcohol consumed. It has alot of residual sweetness and but down to FG 1012. I'm thinking the yeast was stressed and put the afterburners on to get...

    Basic Calculations For Partial-Mash Recipes

You've got me thinking now Pete. I've bought some base grains and soon will do another partial mash. Will certainly use your well researched hard work to start with :) Now I was thinking, partial mash and 'no chill' the partial wort in one of these 5L containers... What do you think?

    Too late for a Porter?

Hey guys, bottled this over the weekend. Unfortunately I didn't cold crash as I've had the fermenting fridge used for something else last week. Tastes lovely, the hops seemed to have worked well although next time I'll make without the dark brown sugar and I'd like to do a mini mash with some MO...

Best option for a new fermenter

I've got 4 plastic fermenters, all different but work pretty well. $200+ for a SS olive oil drum with tap or $50 for new Coopers http://store.coopers.com.au/coopers-diy-beer-fermenting-vessel-34ltr.html

LiquorCraft / BrewCraft / Australia home brewing

Yeah guess the hops are a bit of a rip off. Similar price to Grain and Grape and The Brewer's Den to be honest. Fair point, FWK are very economical... Just saying they have a pretty good selection of recipe kits even compared to Coopers ROTM which plenty of people here purchase. Anyway you...

LiquorCraft / BrewCraft / Australia home brewing

Thought I'd share a good brew shop in Melbourne (and maybe other cities?) for ready to go kits at reasonable prices. Keep an eye out for specials as they do change from time to time including free shipping occasionally...

Continuing Rant Thread - Get it Off Ya Chest here

No wonder smokers get a bad reputation. This last 12 months I've seen an increase in people not giving a **** about common courtesy. Frequently I have to wade through smokers puffing away right at the base stairs at one train station on the way to work and on the way home. Yes it's a public...

    Too late for a Porter?

Sounds great LagerFrenzy! Mine is sitting at 1012. Stuck the heater pad under it with a power point timer, 1hr on 1hr off. Dry hopping with 20g Fuggle, 20g Cascade and about 15g of leftover Azacca. Tastes really great, more like a hoppy northern English brown ale though. No complaints here :)...
