Where to buy Apollo hops in Australia

Damn I'm sure I've bought much smaller quantities from them in the past, but maybe the small fry stuff is too much trouble. After all they are a commercial producer, not a LHBS Sad though that I might have to buy from the UK in the new year when I plan on using these hops instead of local.

House of Malt - New Craft Malthouse selling to Homebrewers

Whereabouts are you? Your profile says Sydney. A sack of grain to Sydney appears to be $38 you sure you didn't add 2 sacks? Shipping in Aus is very expensive though. I never understand why it's cheaper to get things shipped from China than it is from the other side of town.

    Kettel hole punches

Hole punch might work better but here's a link for a 48mm - plenty more on there https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/48mm-Durable-Stainless-Steel-Carbide-Tipped-HSS-Hole-Saw-Multi-Bit-Cutter/132199365828?hash=item1ec7b23cc4:g:cqoAAOSwCRRbJSJU:rk:20:pf:0 I've cut holes in kegs and thin walled pots and...

    Robobrew Gen 3

@Fleabag Have you sent that image to Kegland and asked for assistance - they will surely know which wire goes where. You could try sending to [email protected] and maybe cc to kee@ just for good measure. Even expensive stuff breaks sometimes, as long as they help you sort the issue then all...

Belgian pale help needed using WY3739

As some of you may know I usually do APA's and English styles. So bugger all idea on Belgians and the recipes I do have are for Dubbels and Tripels. However I have this WY3739 spinning up on the stirplate and basically looking for a simple and not too high ABV recipe to chuck it in. So I...

Best and simplest way to get my kegged beer into a few bottles

Oh that will work ok so long as you are drinking the beer in a couple of days. As the supplier says the counterflow is the way to go if you want to keep your beer for any longer. It really isn't that hard either I mean if I can do it :)

    KegLand Questions and Answers

To save @KegLand-com-au the trouble I think the ebay description is a typo as if you count the plates in the image, it's 20 plate. The 20 plate will cool quite efficiently for small batches like 25l Plate chillers can NOT be dissembled to clean. You need to pump cleaners through them (I prefer...

Best and simplest way to get my kegged beer into a few bottles

Well yep that's a fine way to do it, should have included that in my reply. I always assume bottles to be glass because mine are :)

Best and simplest way to get my kegged beer into a few bottles

Well I think the counter pressure is probably the best way to go, and is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Otherwise make sure that tube goes to the bottom of the bottle and transfer very slowly. When you say a beer gun you mean a Pluto? If so add tubing to go to the bottle bottom and...

How to keep fridge cold when it's sunny and hot?

If it gets sunlight put some shadecloth or a tarp to protect it. Mine sits in the garage (soon to be in a steel shed which will make the oven effect worse) and even though it might be 40C on really hot days it manages fine. If it's a dark colour - paint it white or as you said cover it in...

    Inkbird temp controller to fridge

?? You plug the fridge into the cool side of the temp controller. You don't need to mess with the fridge wiring. The Inkbird 308 is as plug and play as you'll get. The Inkbird 1000 needs to be wired up first.

Crown Urn (BIAB) and Keg Ferment Q's

Hmm question 1 is a bit tricky, are you planning on using higher than normal temps or just normal? For ales I normally leave them no pressure for 3 days then slowly raise up to 10psi fermenting at normal temps If you're trying to speed things up and using higher temps you may want to raise that...
