Thanks Hugh for picking this up. I would assume the freight is based on 40 bags of grain. So you would need to add some for freight on the hops otherwise you will finish up short. cheers Ian

I mark/paint the top of the tap in the closed position so a quick eyeball tells me its on or off. Reduces the number of times it occurs.

If you have the same IBU for the lower OG brew then the bitterness will increase. Thus you need to decrease the IBUs to obtain the same balance.

When I did extract used Dry Malt as I found it much easier to handle and store. Used to buy 20kg bags now about $125 then store it in 20 1kg bags vacuum seal or zip seal.
