Whats your method for measuring hops?

I've had a set of these for a few years, still on their first set of batteries and work ok. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LCD-1000g-x-0-1g-Mini-Digital-Jewelry-Gram-Pocke-Weight-Scale-Electronic-Balance-/271944954641?hash=item3f512eb311

QldKev's New Biab With Internal Rims

Never a full 10 amps, but I did brew with my 2,000w element for over a year. Only reason I don't any more was I wanted to check out mathos controller so I converted to it.

    Under bench fridges

Keg King also imports them. I've had one or many years, still running. The cheap chrome work on it rusted. There were some that the display/controller failed, but I'm not sure if it has been resolved. You can buy the part separately if it does fail, or if mine fails I would consider running it...

    Salami 101

Thanks for the compliment. Thank you to you for the motivation to give it a go! Another couple or so weeks the bigger cuts should be ready. Then to save up and get another 1/2 a pig. Have you ever done a boconer? I'm thinking the flavors should be that next level.

    Salami 101

Good timing, I've just packaged up the smaller of my cured meats too. The bits 2kg etc need a bit longer to finish drying. A coppa Mixed Coppa, pancetta, prosciutto

QldKev's New Biab With Internal Rims

My system started life with a stc-1000, heaps better than trying to control it manually. I put my temperature sensor in the wort return. Lots of brewers especially BIAB brewers brew for years without the second return flowing against the heating element, it is just insurance. I kind of...

Best 100L stainless pots? Where to buy in Melbourne

Blichmann if you have plenty of $ to throw at it, otherwise I would go the Craftbrewer pot. Not sure on delivery cost, but you will probably find you can throw a lot of gear in the pot for the same delivery charge.

    Dripping Perlick's

If the kegs have not reached equilibrium, then the beer will continue to absorb CO2 and may reduce the head pressure by too much resulting in the taps dripping. But if you remove the CO2 bottle at equilibrium they should not have an issue unless you have a leak.

    Dripping Perlick's

My understanding as these are a forward sealing unit they need the pressure to force them to seal.

    Rant - push in fittings

I've got genuine JG fittings and I love them. Funny thing was recently I got some 4mm x 8mm beer line to help slow the flow on one of my taps, realized it says keg king on the side, no way am I using it. Get the genuine gear and enjoy for many years.

    XXXX Pale Ale

I grabbed a 6 pack of the pale ale last night. Very low ibu, no real decent malt and a hint of late amarillo which seems out of place. I prefer the standard gold over the pale as its better balanced.

I got a couple running in my HLT to replace the KegKing ones as they blew up. Feedback on these Fit up no problems using the same hole. You do need to supply your own nut. It does not have a housing for the electrics, so you need to build something It does not have an earth point, so I soldered...
