How Much Did You Brew In 2017

I must add (in case my health insurance is watching ) That my brews are getting longer time turnovers. I cant get around to brewing for a while yet but 5 of those 2017 brews will last me until February by the looks of it. The cider maybe years. That is really cool actually because doing...

:fallingoffchair: I think its just my cynicism to expect low *** crap as modern day society online norm. Everything you do is monitored. But forget about all that its good to have brewing forums and of course its strength is the community developed. I wish all brewing forums well etc. I'm just...

The way I see it is this is a residence provided by someone. I would expect any ongoings/ private message to be readable or at least accessible by the admin and moderators. But that's just me...

Even more eye rolling is just how much praise and credit Hardy got for the lamest lack of acting and dialog roll I've ever seen him play. He has shown so much more talent in other rolls that don't get any were near as much recognition if any. But I still liked the new Mad Max even it it was more...

Corny Keg gas leak, help pls.

No. There is no point. The seal is between the stem o ring and the poppit O ring. The Post just needs to tighten up enough.

Corny Keg gas leak, help pls.

Nah. Not sure what you mean. Standard there is one O ring on the stems/tube. Sometimes the thread isnt long enough for your new posts that you bought. Add 2 O rings back to back to the down tube. If you dont have the O rings you might get away with the old ones its about enough rubber padding so...

Screw caps for re-used stubbies and a whole lot more.

Bottled water bottles aren't pressure capable though so not a suitable choice but any soft drink PET bottles are suitable. Sometimes worth considering if you want stubbie sized PET bottles then look for those bargains every now and then if you can get a slab of coke etc in 375ml bottles for...

Screw caps for re-used stubbies and a whole lot more.

The steel crown caps will work ok with the bottle capper but best to use glass bottles with the standard crown cap style not the screw cap style. Crown caps are a once only use. Otherwise the PET bottles are the safest and best option generally. You can reuse the caps but I like to use new ones...

That is very close to my standard water profile that has the additions of my last post added to filtered Melbourne Water. I'm happy with every beer I've made with it. Ca = 52.55 Mg = 6.34 Na = 4.7 SO4 = 104.5 Cl = 31.4 HCO3 = 0.11

Using a Kombucha SCOBY with beer wort.

I'm sure these guys http://www.milkthefunk.com/ would have experience in that they play with all the funky stuff so could be worth looking into it.

Water profile for Coopers Pale Ale

20 - 23lt brew: 3g Gypsum, 1g Calcium Chloride, 1g Epsom Salts. That's a simple go to in many Bronzed Brew recipes for Aussie Pale Ales. If your starting with a close to blank profile.

    2018 Hop Plantations

What breed of Hop? What location? Its been a hard year on all my hops this season. You get good seasons and not so good seasons from a multitude of reasons. Pests being a big one when things (weather climate) favor them and not in favor of the plants. I'm now thinking that breed versus location...
