EOI Voyager Malt. Also the new geared 3 roller grain mill.

Yeah! I got my invoice on Monday, paid Tuesday, and had it in my hands (Regional Vic) by Thursday

EOI Voyager Malt. Also the new geared 3 roller grain mill.

@Keg King could you please give us some info on what size the bolts are that are used to secure the mill on to a board? They are a different size to the ones from my old 2 roller mill, and I don't really want to be hauling the whole thing in to a hardware store to work it out!

EOI Voyager Malt. Also the new geared 3 roller grain mill.

I received my 3 roller mill today (talk about quick!). After spending the better part of an hour swearing and losing my mind about the fact that the assembled hopper would not fit in to the body of the mill (as the instructions show that it should be put together), let me save the rest of you...

    Wood Fired Brewery

@Chappo666 Try contacting Robe Town Brewery, mate. From their website: "Our organic approach to brewing is unique across the world – we operate the only wood-fired brewing kettle in Australia, all malt is mashed in oak barrel mash tuns and filtered through hay, open fermentation, hand bottling...

    Saison fermentation question

The best part about L. Plantarum is that you don't even have to keep it at 35oC - you can leave it at room temp and it will still be fine!

Help, Did wife dry hopped my Beer too early?

Probably because there are no rules saying that lagers can't be dry hopped. 'Lager' is a massive grouping of beers, so your attitude is, dare I say, a little ignorant! @Mrdanielpcollins you'll be fine mate. Some people still spout the old wives' tale about longer dry hopping causing grassy...

    WTB: KeyKeg Coupler

Hmmm...A new member who joins the forum and on the same day makes a few posts purely about keykegs, including one that is full of effusive praise for the product in reply to a post that is 3 months old. This is some of the least subtle astroturfing that I've ever seen, and that's saying...

    The NEIPA thread

Just as a way to reiterate something that I stated as one of my personal opinions on NEIPAs - being that heaps of adjuncts aren't needed in the grain bill, just a flavourful base malt, some oats and then maybe a bit of wheat or Vienna if you really want. Case in point, here's the general recipe...

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

I currently own a guten (one of the 'direct from China', pre-KK-selling-them ones). With my knowledge and experience now, if I were to buy a new single vessel unit, I would go for the guten again. Overall, they are both much of a muchness in their current forms and very similar. The one thing...

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

For me, it saves a ton of time and effort. I can set my Guten to heat the water (all of it, including my sparge water) to mash temp for when I get up in the morning (multiple steps at the minimum temperature to get through the night, then the heating step timed for when I get up), I then drain...

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

Can we please not turn this thread in to another **** slinging match between the businesses and also their shadow/worker accounts? We want to hear from the users and consumers about their experiences. In my mind it's ok for the makers/retailers to highlight what they feel are the...

    Robobrew V3 vs Guten

I'm going to assume that you'd get those parts from keg king themselves, seeing as though they are the Aus distributor/seller of the units

Holgate Esb Any Idea's On A Recipe

I find it quite amusing that despite the brewery themselves saying in multiple places that it is dry hopped with galaxy, there are so many in this thread who seem to think that they know better... Just because you cannot pick it specifically, that does mean that it isn't there. Perhaps a...

    Lhbs what grinds your gears?

Everyone needs a break, mate. Especially when they're open all week. Or maybe they can't afford to pay someone to staff it on a Sunday? Anyhow, I'm assuming that it annoys you because you can't make it there during the week/Saturdays? Personally, one of my bugbears with LHBSs is when the staff...

What's The Hop Flavour In Corona And Heineken - I Dont Like It

They qualify as gluten free in some parts of the world, but not in Aus. To be considered gluten here, it needs to be made with no gluten containing products, and test as having 'no detectable levels' of gluten (which is <3ppm). Therefore even beers which are made using Clarity Ferm (which...
