I got this fridge for free it has a faulty defrost timer which makes it freeze up. so when I want to cold crash I plug it into a simple timer which turns it off for 15 minutes every six hours that let's it get down to 3 degrees without freezing up

Here's a pic of mine obviously the freezer doesn't freeze . I can fit two 30l fermenters in there.

yeah it won't matter mate so long as your fermenter fits in and you keep the probe in the fridge section

your not gunna believe this but I had that exact same esky when I used to work up in qld fifo when I finished up I gave that esky to the guy that I want to send the beer too now. do you just fill the esky with ice? are they fairly quick to deliver?

My next brew was 4kg Maris otter 500g victory 500g torrified added 20 litres of water got to 71 added grain one hour later sparged 9 litres of water at 70 slowly through the bag og was 1041 pitched one bag us05 at 19 degrees final gravity came to 1012
