    Limes

Keep limes away from beer. Fizzy yellow water is ok to put limes in to add flavour. Now mixed with gin is another thing all together.

Does anyone know who does gas refills in Brisbane over xmas?

If you have a spare keg and can park it outside the fridge hooked up to your system throw around 500g of sugar 4lts of cold water and some yeast at it. I wouldn't recommend it as daily use but it would get you out of strife for a few days.

Stux you on the right track with your cooking schedule. Make sure when you turn the gas back on you give it a good dose of power to get if back to temp so it doesn't get greasy. We did one a few weeks back with my American mate and it turned out the best turkey any one had ever eaten. You won't...

Looking for Bundaberg Ginger Beer clone recipe

No boil Fletcher just use a jug of boiled water to resolve the sugar. Add ginger and lemon top up with cold water. If you were wanting to bottle you can always add some uso5 after a day and bottle this in PET. When the bottles get solidly stiff refrigerate.

When a H.B. Shop should say "Kits and Bits" only!

I understand the anger the OP being upset at the brew shop not knowing about the AA of the hops that their selling but there must be something said about them only wanting tstgo there when they need something at a pinch. Sorry to hear that. It was a 90 minute boil in a 20l braumiester I know the boil off on it is notoriously low but have never detected it in any beers. Has anyone else noticed any DMS in my beer? I'm just a little concerned that their Pilsner malts might not be as fully modified as they make...
