    NSW Container deposit scheme.

I heard on brews news that this was going to be a trial thing only. I know that it's gunna do more harm than good to small business in the state but if its a trial it relies on people using the system so please New South Welshman continue to use your keen side recycling.

I was talking to a mate on the phone about it today and he made a solid point, the big guys see their " craft" products like little creatures, yenda and yac selling for $60ish a slab in dans and proper craft fetching $80+. Buy one or 2 then knock their packaging costs by half and shave a ****...

At first i was mortified but good on them everyone needs a pay day. I bet it was part of a well played out strategy from the start. Toowoomba water is good for most beers. Needs a little gysum for most things with hops and a small dose of lactic for everything but otherwise good. There are several locations they draw water from so depends where abouts you are in town your taking it from. Council are easy to get a report out...

    Haze

Are you using kettle finings at all. I couldn't see it in your process. You must use some sort of product to help precipitate proteins from the boil. Irish moss, Whirlfloc or better yet Brewbrite. I find 4g of Brewbrite at 10 minutes to go. A good 3 days crash chilling and a teaspoon of...

KK - 'Fermentasaurus' conical PET fermenter

I tend to leave the bottle on and open during the whole ferment and dont bother removing the trub at all. Using the pressure kit your taking good beer from the top anyway I was even thinking about cutting the stand and rewelding shorter to eliminate the height needed to use the trub botttle...
