Okay, these look pretty cool. Might finally be a solution to the problem of doing split batches and avoiding oxidation. Just need to work out a floating dip tube solution (or appropriate dip length) to ferment and serve all at once.

Be careful what you wish for. A finer mesh on the false bottom would be more prone to plugging, much like the original bazooka screen. There's no harm with some trub (or even all of it) going into the fermenter, but you can minimise it with false bottom + turning the tap off when it starts to go...

OP's wording is verbatim from the recipe and how Coopers names their product: "Light Dry Malt" with "extract" implied. I've never seen grain referred to as "dry malt" -- is this a thing? And yep, ingredients are itemised like a shopping list. No leftovers. :)

Would definitely prefer KK, but I don't think they have a 4-keg model. Their product pages don't specify how many kegs their kegerators fit.

And another email saying it's back in stock. Page says available from 16 December, like it did yesterday.

Thanks mate. Didn't get an "in stock" notification, but I never have before, so at least the system is consistent. Website is slow as balls. In stock in one tab and out of stock by the time the 2nd tab opened.

Point 2 is good general advice, but for a small chest freezer that holds only 3-4 kegs, there simply isn't space to do this, especially when you allow for bend radii at the shanks. Conversely, a fridge that barely holds 3-4 kegs won't have the same problem. Agreed on building stuff being more fun.
