    Hi I tried to re-use yeast, thought it was slow and so I took off lid -after a day it had done nothing. So I add a kit yeast, did starter first and fine. I am not sure if going off, or if 2 yeasts is making a different taste. Tastes a bit medicinal and this morning was unpleasant to taste...

    HI Guys I was going to post about this and already have ... LOL Does anyone use these? I was thinking about my Dad, has a few cupboards in the garage that it would fit in nicely. But seems pricey to me? - its about $1400.00 cheapest beer is $28.00 for 10L - is about $2 a schooner. Not bad...

    Btw the way I keg, I don’t cold crash …. At the end of the keg there are bits on the bottom, I’m sure that is pure yeast too? Sure I could use that?

    Thanks - just thought it looked more trub, anyway cheers. Do you think each one is enough for a brew or do I make into one bottle? its hard to know how much yeast this is, doing it this way?

    I did some yeast washing, put in a 2 litre bottle, let all the gunk settle to the bottom for about 45 min / hour, then poured the into a few bottles, without all the rubbish. I have done this before and worked. I don’t see a lot “white” which I thought was more the yeast. What are your thoughts...

    Yes, no issues? I find it a bit strange that we are worried cleaning, then just just something in...no chance of tiny bacteria or by the time this goes the liquid is mostly alcohol so a natural cleaner?

    Hi There I have just made a standard coopers pale ale kit. I want to dry hop with amarillo in a few days. Question - do most of you use hop bags or just chuck in? I have steep before and just chuck everything in...Have not really had a probably but seeing this method will make a cleaner beer...

    Interesting, when brewing do you release pressure now and again with these PRVs - because how would know if it is blocked? It would probably look the same as blocked or not? Or can you see if it looks different?

    I use that coles brand unscented laundry powder ... sodium percarbonate .. $2.50 to clean everything... so that is the best and cheapest 😂

    Thanks I have that pink cleaner that I got from club once - they use it on glasses.. not sure what it’s called? Works well I think .. washed all glasses and rinsed with out water. Do you know what it is?

    So you salt scrub your glasses every time? Or every now and again, if so how do you normally wash ? Can just hot water be ok?

    Thanks - $80 bit steep, Think I can get 6kg for 52, 2.6 is 35, anyhow Did not know that fire companies did CO2, - ? thanks
