    KegLand Questions and Answers

It's a cool idea but the problem is you'll get end user configuring/using it wrong then blowing up their pressure vessels and blaming KL. Maybe if it has a low pressure PRV.

@KegLand-com-au I think there is an error with the shipping calculator for the bucket blaster. Mine arrived today, it is 300x300x360mm (LxWxD) it weights 3.3kg. I was charged a much higher amount than usual even though it is smaller and weights less than all my previous grain orders.

A premium version of the Maltzilla was mentioned on the FB group with stainless rollers, is this going to be available as an upgrade or is it a standalone version? Maybe worth updating the description on the kegland Maltzilla page so people know there are going to be two versions available at...

    Cereal, wheat-bix bready flavour

I get a cereal, wheat-bix or bread flavour from a couple of craft beers (quiet deeds - pale) and from a previous FWK I've brewed. All inn Mercenary APA. I don't know if this is a desirable or undesirable flavour for most; but I like it and want to add it to my own all grain brews. Mercenary APA...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

I'd be surprised if you could get a signal outside of a completely sealed keg. For iSpindel (which is WiFi not Bluetooth like the tilt) some users have had success by electrically isolating the lid (as would be the case with a Corney) looking at the kegmenters might be a bit more difficult to...

    Keg Hopping / Dry Hopping

Is there any issue with leaving hops in the serving keg for an extended period of time? It takes me about 3 months to get through a 19L keg.

    iSpindel Digital Hydrometer

The offset calibration issues doesn't relate to movement of the board in the tube, it relates to resetting the calibration after a power cycle as documented on the github issue. No amount of calibration can make it work after the power cycle.

I previously checked the gyro board to check it was square and parallel, also checked all connections with a multimeter. Yes it was one of your pre-built ones so the solder points were perfect, can't fault the quality of your assembly, must be the underlying hardware.

    iSpindel Digital Hydrometer

Nah it doesn't work without doing the offset calibration, it doesn't reach a usable range no matter what angle you hold. Without calibration it shows ~16° at vertical and no matter what angle you hold it you can't get it less than 16°. There is speculation that it is bad memory on the wemos, or...
