Making holes in stuff from 5.5mm slowly to a faster 6mm and the ole 7.62mm, with a bit of beer n jerky from the same bench-work keeps getting in the way!

My path started with a Mangrove Jacks kit then was quickly into kegging then pressure fermenting as a time saver mostly perfecting K&K, FWKs expanding my skills to cider, lagers, brown beers and loads of ales to suit my taste in yeasts, hops and the odd fruit ale. Now at 11 yrs I'm very tempted...

Looks the goods I am just about to move into a new house and this will let me scope out and put dibs on the space for fermenting or conditioning before the trouble and strife fills the space with random cushions:rolleyes::cool:

Kegland is the trumour valid that the FermZilla Tri-Conical may come out with a stainless steel body vice the plastic in the near future??

Picked this Esatto one up from appliance online fits the big all rounder or a fermzilla only works hard during cold crash in summer, it has the compressor hump by the back of the drawer.

Has anyone set up a series X plus with the modular font? How many taps would fit between the elbow risers if I wanted an arch like design like the attached piccy to run lines down both sides?

I have asked David Heath if he will do one of his comparison videos of the G40/BT40/BZ65 so waiting to see the results, saw one in the LHBS and it looked and felt the goods

Have to agree Inkbird make some great gear to improve the quality of my beer and BBQs would always have a place for more!

I have done the same as Mr H68 and had very good results with German style pils, pressure ferment 1x S189 at 12c/15psi, rest at 22c/18psi cold crash to 2C/12psi taste test and lager for as long as I can resist - I am weak!

I use a Pi stuck to the wall of the fridge added a couple of USB PC fans to give a more constant temp around the fridge. I did learn that if you dry hop via the hop ball/sack and magnets make sure you drop it in clear of the tilt. Did use an old mobile to network the Tilt very happy with the Pi.

Todd depending on the amount of dry hops I either use a mesh hop ball held in place with magnets for a 25-50gm if using more I clean and dry the collection jar add the hop load and close the valve purging with CO2. Once I get to hop time on the tilt flick open valve and watch the chaos un-fold...

What Razz said, I have a tilt and adjust the blow tie to allow the pressure to creep up as the SG starts to steady and loosely aim for 12psi after cold crash, this allows me to pressure transfer fining solution via the gas post as well
