Geckos are a big problem here, lay their eggs in open ball valves

Sounds stupid but I put a balloon over the end of all my taps and lids on all my vessels

Got some balloons today & started ripping things apart. However, they've got into my LPG lines & also the two 4-ring burners! Gonna have to come-up with a solution to isolate the entire brewery at this time of year. Bugger it!

An Air Compressor would be handy for getting the blighters out but if you have one you've prolly done that. If not grab one from somewhere. Dang!

you might have to get one of those bug surface sprays and spray around your brewing area?

@ Grott. SWMBO suggested that, but it's only good for crawling insects, not flying ones. Besides, I don't want to go spraying nasty chemicals on my brew gear.

sealable containers Martin, each bit that cant be sealed goes in a container of some description, bit of a PITA as youd have to assemble for every brew, maybe garbage bags over and tie closed

On the cards is to rip everything apart & clean it out. Balloons for the obvious apertures & got some canvas that SWMBO has agreed to sew together into a cover for the entire rig in time for my Birthday (will also keep the dust out). Double-Yay!

I get my hoses and connect males to males (i.e. on mash tun connect drain to mash return). No chance of getting in.
