I've asked a couple of them that question. None of them were in any shape to answer however.

They don't make 'em like they used too... oh wait did you say hydrometer? Nah, they still make them the same way they always did...

they do bounce. it just depends what u drop them on.

Bought a refractometer.still have hydrometer,

I have a plastic Coopers hydrometer. I believe it would bounce, but haven't tried it.
