Yes but we've resurrected it.
I use lemongrass / green tea flavour. I wash by hand with hardly any water and just a couple of drop of the magic. Rinses off completely with no odor remaining.
My house is on a water softener but I don't think that's a factor.
I too struggled for ages to get my glasses "beer clean" Then I discovered Organic Choice dishwashing liquid. Plant based, no caustic or petro chemicals.

Forward seating taps are the way to go. Stainless steel are good if you want to use the stronger cleaners like T.S.P.

Brad. If you have the newer T shape filter you can fit it with a stainless hose clamp. I put mine on with the silicone endcap firmlly aganst the thermowell. That prevents the cap being dislodged also.

Leaving the pump running will ensure you have maximum flow though the grain. Switching it off allows the water level to drop, reducing head pressure above grain. Water flowing down the overflow ensures the wort temperature above the grain is correct. Both good for efficiency.
I use a keg with a modified dip tube as a secondary fermenter. It has a 30 Psi relief valve. Transfer to the serving keg after the cold crash. Work every times. Straight on tap.
I buy the expensive nitto air fittings for my workshop. The ones that hold the outside ring back so you can connect with one hand. I don't mind hearing the compressor start even if I'm not using air. Just a bit of a leak.
