So I have been out of brewing for a while and am looking at this one for the weekend. 20l batch 2kg pilsner 1kg pale wheat 1 kg Munich I .5kg dark crystal Mash @ 66 20g citra @ 40 mins 30g citra @ flame out 20g citra dry hop Us 05 @ 18 The brew will be a no chill. Any comments appreciated.

Does a dry yeast count once properly hydrated? Is that cheating?

The stc1000 that I will use is rated at 16amps. I do like your idea about the relay however. Makes me wonder if I should put a more powerful element in to avoid an over the side or a second element for the boil on a double batch. I will have a chat to my electrician

Hi all. Can anyone recommend a 3600w element that they have used in a boiler? A link would be great? I want to stick to 3600w element so I can still use an stc1000 to controller temps and a pump to recirculate... The unit will go in a 70L pot so I will either use an over the side element or...

Hi all I'm looking to buy a 50L keg. I'm in the canberra region.

I like to use sn9 when am after a rather dry finishing cider. At 20 degrees mine normally finish more around the 10 - 14 day mark. cheers
