Hi
I'm using a new kettle tomorrow
What's should i do if i end up with more wort than i need to fill my cube.
Would hate to waste any, can excess be used as a sort of starter? I'm using dry yeast
Thanks
I'll probably give fwh a go
What sort of IBU can i expect from cube hopping,is it similar to x amounts of minutes boil?
(Depending on cube size, ambient temp and a load of other factors)
Just remembered I have some Magnum left in the freezer.
Small magnum bittering charge, 40g in cube @90°, 60g dry hop?
(Although i love the simplicity of chucking it all in the cube)
What's the best way to get the most hoppiness out of 100g of citra in a no-chill cube brew?
Flame out, cube hop, dry hop, buy more hops?
All of the above?
Thanks
Cheers for the feedback. I wouldn't of thought of putting the tap on the side.
Just need to decided between a 2 or 3 piece tap. I assume the 3 piece is easier to perform maintenance... Which I'm guessing no one ever does lol
Hi,
I'm getting a new brew kettle and i cant decide wether or not to add a tap/spigot or would a stainless steel racking cane or jiggle Syphon do the trick
(50l steel pot with 2x2.4kw elements)
I've been getting into no chill lately, usually biab with a batch sparge... Not sure if that would...
