    Pasteurizing cider.

    If you heat pasteurise your cider, the flavour will change and it will take on a cooked apple flavour - thats the theory anyway. Give it a go though and tell us what happens. tim

    18 month old keg of beer- would you drink it?

    I have some 4 year old bottles of 'chinese hopped' pale ale and 9 year old bottles of an amber ale. The younger beer has some autolysis, but the older one still tastes fine.

    @WarmBeer, I think the OP is referring to dilution as he had drawn off some of the concentrated beer whilst it was frozen. Removing some of the sugary syrupy strong beer will resulting a weaker more balanced beer upon thawing.
