100 litre 3v electric brewery build

Not sure but, I highly recommend the hop stopper.

About the 6th brew with the hop stopper. No whirlpool. Just drain straight after boil finishes and crystal clear wort into the fermentor.

    Vacuum when crashing solution

Worked like a charm 2 times now. Will be my regular routine until I get a uni tank.

100 litre 3v electric brewery build

The last 2 beers I've brewed, an ipa at 1.075 and a wheat at 1.052, have fermented in 4 days to final and had full calculated attenuation. I'm putting it down to this oxygen kit. Wish I bought this year's ago.

    Vacuum when crashing solution

So I'm crashing the IPA now. I can't work out how to add videos here for some reason it won't let me. I'll update once crashed and see how this one goes.

    Vacuum when crashing solution

On a vessel that's able to be pressurised it will work but on these chronicles itll leak out the lid seal and risk losing your gas. It's not much pressure either. Actually my gauge doesn't even read that low. It's an old half smashed reg though so.

    Vacuum when crashing solution

Here is my solution on the vacuum you get into a fermentor when changing your beer temperature from ale temps to cold condition temps. I want to crash chill my beer from say, 19c to 0c. It will create vacuum. Which will, depending on your setup, either pull in Air, yes air, 21% 02. 87%...

    Show us your brewrig

Second brewday on the new rig. Loving the inline oxygen stone kit. Fermentation was cranking 2 hours after pitching.

100 litre 3v electric brewery build

I just had to post the first beer on the new electric system here. Man, all centennial ale and it's a cracker. Been crashed for 2 days so still hazy from hops. Really nice beer. Really happy I've even got a drinker for the first run, and a ripper at that. Centennial has always been up there as...

    Thermistor temperature probe build

I needed a heap of thermistor temp probes for my brewery. I've seen them for 16 bucks a peice but none have the option to unplug the cable from the probe. This isn't my idea. I got this build idea from embedded control concepts website. I decided to make 10 probes at once. I got the really...

    Volt meter wiring

If it were me I would do that as well. Have the induction transformer or CT over a main power phase for full system current and have the voltmeter across the main power contactor active and neutral phases. I mean the voltmeter would just be for show but the Amps are what you really want to...

    Volt meter wiring

I think that's what Camo is getting at. It's drawn across the active phase only. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The smaller pumps. I wanted to go for the larger 65w for whirlpool and cleaning but the smaller seems to be working out well for the first brew. I might go for a third pump in the 65w so I can clean thr mash while im whirlpooling/chilling
