it is a tooheys one.. and the guy from the hbs here reckons it is the sydney ones.. it is short and fat.... i was just wondering how i can clean the keg when i need to...
and can anybody be a little precise on what i have to get cause i am fairly new to the kegging stuff.. thanks
and old landlord gave me a keg he found in one of his rented house.. he used to rent it to university student.. i was telling him about a keg set up and he said he can give me a keg he found.. nobody came to pick it up since the last student left 2 months ago.. it looks pretty new.. i think it...
It was a cooper bavarian lagar.. and it comes with a lagar yeast... i brewed it during the winter months... as i recalled the temp was around 12-15. I don't bulk prime.. i just test the Sg's in the hydrometer.. it was a little above 1010 then i bottled...

anybody tell me what a characteristic of a off beer is like? i have a brew that smells odd.. but not bad... is that considered off? it smells odd.. liek rotten eggs or smth rotten.. but still tastes fine?
just dunno how to tell if a beer is off if it still tastes like beer.. please let me know!

i was just wondering if the crown seals need to be steralised?
i usually keep them in a cupboard so i assume that they are generally clean when i use them... first time i steralised them.. second brew i didn't ( turned out alright didnt have any off taste) third brew i was just wondering...

i am trying to put ont he mexican cerveza now with the #10 brew pack ( so that u can make something like the Corona) the temp here gets to around 3 or 4 nowadays.. i don't have a heating pad or anything like that to brew the kit.. so is it a good idea to do it now or shoudl i wait till...
Now my brew is not bubbling after cleaning the airlock when the fermenting subsided a bit.... it has only been three days that i put the brew on so i don't think the fermenting process is over... is that okay?

sorry, i don't think i expressed myself properly. What happened was that it looks frothy in the airlock....then the second thing is that the airlock is bubbling so often or much i should say that the beer or liquid is coming out of the airlock and falling onto the lid of the fermenter...

i just put in my second brew.... i changed the airlock and it is bubbling like anything.. in fact, the brew has been bubbling so much that the beer is going into the airlock... is that normal? is it also normal that the beer is pouring out to the lid of the fermenter (from the airlock)...
