I have two posts like that, Press them out with a pin punch/screwdriver with the post sitting on a flat surface. They come out fine, and re-seat themselves when you screw the post back on

I'm using a gunness tap with straight co2 at 5psi - this gives about the right level of carbonation for a stout tap, have tried with a keg carbed at 10psi and the beer came out complete foam. The pour is slow compared with a nitro tap, but as far as i can tell that's the only difference. All...

that's why i went with compression fittings on mine, the brass bits pop off then i push a keg of caustic through (my pump is also fitted with brass disconnects, so no recircing)

Just keep the caustic away from brass and you'll be fine

Have done a pale ale with 100% NZ B-saaz. Grain bill was 95% Maris otter, 5% med crystal, og about 1050 and hopped to 40ibu using whole b-saaz. I used 15, 10 and 5 minute additions, and a steep at flameout (no bittering addition). Might not be too practical with euro saaz due to the low %AA

Those are the valves i use, they do the job nicely, can be broken down for cleaning in a couple of minutes.

Now i think about it, this isn't going to be too bad - the last box of 4 kegs i ordered was 41lbs, about 75 us for shipping. If you couldn't squeeze two whole kegs into each $37 box, then order 5 kegs in 3 boxes - get the lids, tubes and posts taken off the kegs in the boxes of 2 - would...

It's not all bad - Priority flat rate box to NZ is $37 US for 20 pounds, 6-10 days delivery. From memory that's better than the old cheapest air rate. Might sneak 2 kegs in to that, and will be ok for mills etc
