Not sure for the numbers. I pre heat my sparge water also, so I am heating about 35L from 25C @ 2500W and I usually allow about 45 mins. Setting things up as I mentioned above means that It’s hot when I get up. (Usually I’m about 10 mins into the step at 67ish. Controller is pretty crusty to...

Because you need to hit go on the controller to start it after the power comes on.

If you can deal with the water being kept at 25C, then you can make it work. It’s lots of button pressing due to step length limitations. Configure a mash profile like the following in auto mode: Skip step 1. (This will pause at the end so no good for over night) Step 2 - 25c, low power...

Take my frustration as a warning! Every picture and video I’ve seen has the center raised section facing down but i think it makes perfect sense pointing it up. Thanks. That was my conclusion too. Interesting the promo picture on Keg King’s website definitely has it raised center down. The manual - we’ll that could be either way depending on how I squint.

First brew for me tonight on the guten. All was going great until I went to lift the malt pipe out and the false bottom fell through! A lot of draining, cleaning and filtering later I did get a brew done, albeit a few points under expected gravity. I’m guessing I had the false bottom upside...

90 degree FFL to MFL elbow

In case anyone is looking for the same... After a lot more investigation, I found that the thread on a disconnect is a 1/4 inch SAE 45 degree Flared fitting. Elbows (especially stainless) are hard to come by. I eventually found that AN-4 is also the same thread although the flare angle is...

    KegLand Questions and Answers

No special features in mind. The thicker the better. Would help keep it cool if taking it to a party etc. I’ve seen some with straps etc for carrying, but the keg has handles anyway, and and straps or clips would get in the way for my use.
