Can anyone tell me if I can clean an Oxebar Keg with caustic soda? Prost!

The 8 liter Oxebar kegs are finally coming to Europe, I hope I can get ahold of some soon. I plan on trying to ferment some small batches in these, do you guys have any experience with that? Prost!

I mainly do batches under 10 Liters on the stove, that's why I'd love to try to ferment in an Oxebar and serve from one as well. Unfortunately they are not available here in Germany and when they are they will likely be 30€ a piece. You Aussies can call yourselves lucky with the selection and...

I With all the new stuff coming up I've lost track. Is there a new range of plastic FermZillas planned as well? As much as I'd like a steel one, I just love watching fermentation...

I really don't have a good answer to that. There is a home brewing community of course but my guess is that it's nowhere near as popular as in the US or Australia. It is much more common in The Netherlands. It might have to do with the availability of good (and quite cheap) beer in Germany...

Thanks for the quick answer! I'd love to support a local business, unfortunately there is none in Germany and the few distributors in Europe sell a very limited selection of your products.

@KegLand-com-au: I am watching this thread for news about the upcoming Brewzilla and Fermzilla. Where else should I look for anything noteworthy on these or for new Kegland products in general?

I thinking about doing some smaller batches in my 27l Fermzilla (when in finally arrives...). Usually I will do 20-25 liters but for trying out recipes I would like to try about 5 liters every now and then. Does anybody have experience with volumes that small in the Fermzilla? I have no idea how...

I guess waiting with pressure for after Kräusen is the safest route. I'd like some more safetyfeatures nevertheless.

Took me a while to get to read this... And great to hear that what I thought about is being worked on! Pressure release valve caps for the container. I guess they will be great for purging gas. Any idea how they will react when used for releasing pressure when the container is full of...
