    New To Kegging

Make sure you go for aa double clock reg straight away. I usually gas my kegs for 36 hours at 300 KPA. If you only have a single clock reg it makes it a pain to have a beer while a keg is gassing. With a double clock reg you can be gasing at 300 KPA and drinking at 20 KPA without interupting...

    Coopers Lager

Hi Josh Yeah - not the greatest kit but still can produce a good beer. You can soup it up with 100-200 g light maly or corn syrup or both. Add some haletau hops for a more europian style. You could also buy a proper lager yeast to go with it. Another option is to substitute the sugars in other...

    Dry Enzyme: Which Kits?

My Missus loves the lighter drier beers so I do a few Coopers Lagers with the dry enzyme. I would suggest using mainly dextrose. I think its a bit of a waste using cornsyrup or extra malt when using an enzyme. My understanding is that the enzyme will convert the non-fermentable part of these...

    Dry Beer Enzyme

I forgot to add that the brews take a lot longer in the fermenter. The more maltier the brew, the longer the enzyme will work to break down the sugars. Also, because of the lower SG mentioned earlier, it is difficult to use a hydrometer to know when it is done. I fall back to the "...wait til it...

    Dry Beer Enzyme

While being new to this site, I have been brewing a fair while. What keeps me brewing is that you can brew to ANY taste. I have and do use dry enzymes. My wife likes the lighter dryer beers while I like the darker maltier drops. However, drinking great malty beer all the time may result in...
