    Beer Filter

Air doesn't seem to be getting in, except for the CO2 i'm using to push it. Did also dump the first schooner or so from the tap to stop mega yeast flowing in. I've put both kegs into the fridge now, will let them settle for w hile and try the rest.

I'll check it out. thanks for the advice. I *think* it is a micromatic.... Actually, without going out in the rain to the garage...I am nearly 100% sure it is this one http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-beer/r...rs-pid-642.html

    A Problem And A Question

It isn't in the gauge, foam did come out the reg knob though....as soon as it started I cranked it up and blew it back through to the keg.

    A Problem And A Question

I have a (possible) problem and a question. I'l lstart with the problem.... this morning I turned the pressure down on my reg, and forgot that I'd filled the keg right up to the gas in pipe!! So beer came out of the reg :( Is this as bad as I imagine it to be? does it need professional...

    Cleaning Your Beer Glasses

I'm pretty lazy, so I reckon I'm gunna try normal dishwashing, but after it is unpacked, I'll rinse the beer glasses in very hot water with white vinegar. I reckon that has to work....well good enough for me anyway...

    Can I Bottle Kegged Beer?

thanks Ross, so they are actually for gassing the beer, rather than just bottling already gassed/kegged beer right?

    Yesty Beasties And Hops ..

I cultured it from the dregs from each bottle (hoping I have the right terminology). I emptied the bottom 2cm from about 4 longneccks into a coke bottle with some wort. slowlyu stepping it up oer about 5 days until I had a goodly amount. It worked perfectly, brewed out the last batch nicely...

    Yesty Beasties And Hops ..

So what I gather (and please corrrect me if I'm wrong) is that I should add some distilled water to this, then shake and leave for a bit, and pour off the top bit, and discard the bottom. Repeat as required until very little hops etc left? Coopers yeast clumps together pretty well, so I'm...

    Yesty Beasties And Hops ..

Cheers for that. I did a quick search but didn't see that one. I currently purchase about 8 - 10 longnecks of coopers per week, specifically to get the crown seals wouldn't you know :P I just thought it would be easier with such a huge amount of yeast, rather than the tedious process of a...
