Wow Between The Drunks and I, 9 players will decide who wins. At this rate the grand final could be decided between 4-5 different players.

    Cascade Blonde

I can see my mistake now. I guess I read the word Original as meaning European due to the fact that the Europeans have been making wheat beers a lot longer than the Americans ;) Well its given me some food for thought for one of my next brews.

    Cascade Blonde

Saw this beer at the bottle shop the other night and thought I'd try it out. It states Cascade Blonde - Original Wheat beer I tried it out of the stubbie (how most people will probably drink it) and out of a glass to see if that was different. Also drank the beer in the glass slowly to see...

    2 Brothers

I went there a couple of weeks ago. I quite liked their Growler (brown ale) and Grizz (Amber ale). Pretty good beers. Also tried the cider. Its OK but not my cup of tea. I don't drink enough cider to really be a judge on whether its good or not. I also tried Taxi (pilsner). It's not a...

    Newbie Process Help

If you are doing a 5 litre boil you don't want to add both extracts as the boil gravity will be too high. Hop extraction works best when the boil gravity is at 1.040. I checked ianh's brew spreadsheet (stickied at the top of this section) and you would only need 475g of the liquid malt...

    Bottle Carbonation

It probably does have an effect but it is hard to tell. Also when you chill it, the water/CO2 molecules have less movement so that would contribute to the PET bottle feeling softer chilled than when at room temperature. Once you heat back up to room temperature of course the water molecules...

My Next Brew: Little Creatures Pale Ale

My method is to add the brew booster/BE2 to the fermenter, put in 1 litre of hot water and swirl the water around in the bottom of the fermenter. This pretty much dissolves everything. Then I add the kit to the fermenter and rinse the tin out with some more hot water.

The emergency rule only applies to those sitting on the bench in that position. So if you have a 7 players playing in the backline, you can select 6 to play and make the 7th one an emergency. If one of the 6 doesn't play then the emergency subs in for them. But the emergency cannot be used...

Brew Techniques For Quality And Economy (like Yeast Cake Reuse, Toucan

The reality is that the thread title is Brew Techniques For Quality And Economy (like Yeast Cake Reuse, Toucan, well, this is the kit and kilo forum! So BIAB isn't probably an appropriate answer. The other issue with 4 of them is that if they are splitting the costs and someone wants to pull...

Brew Techniques For Quality And Economy (like Yeast Cake Reuse, Toucan

Do any of the Kit brewers tell the All grain brewers when something goes wrong or it doesn't quite taste right that maybe they should use kits instead? This website is about sharing knowledge. The Kits and Extracts section used to be pretty vibrant but now it seems to be pretty quiet. I put...

Brew Techniques For Quality And Economy (like Yeast Cake Reuse, Toucan

F#$k me Nick - if you don't like kit brewing don't read this section of the forum. Every time there is a discussion about kit brewing you have to post about BIAB and how you think its the ducks nuts. If people want to know about BIAB maybe they can wander over to the Common Ground, All Grain...
