Good idea Yum Beer!
I'm just about ready to bottle some apple/pineapple cider I've been brewing and think I may use this method instead of the usual sugar priming.
Does this method add any sweetness to the final product? My current batch is a bit dry, so was hoping to sweeten it up a bit...
Hi rob, I just dissolved it in some warm water to make it easier to work with (original recipe said not to boil). I didn't see the post saying it will dissolve after time, but I guess I'll just leave it to work it's magic! Thanks for the info!

Firstly - thanks for the recipe!
I've just finished putting together 2 demijohns (one with less honey) however it's been about 6 hours and the honey is still very much undissolved at the bottom.
Is this normal? Will it eventually dissolve?

Based on this info, I think I'll replace the dextrose with DWME and use a good quality liquid yeast (thanks for the tip on splitting ploto!).
Just one question - would this mean leaving out the 500g Light Dry Malt too?
