Keg King gas manifold - humming sound?

I recently purchased a KK gas 2 way manifold and hooked it up to my 2 kegs. One side seems to be working perfectly but the other is making a weird humming sound when in the on (12 o'clock, I assume that 9 and 3 o'clock are off) position. I felt the gas line and it is vibrating also...? Has...

    Leaky keg post?

O-ring was the culprit! I have replaced all and put keg lube everywhere! (well maybe not everywhere...) Think I have this under control. I still have to say, the plastic gas disconnects aren't super great. I think I will try the KK premium stainless to see if they are better.

    Leaky keg post?

Thanks heaps for the responses :icon_cheers: I am thinking Wiggman is on the right track, I have had a quick inspection of the O-rings and it's looking a little damaged, I will buy a few new ones today and see if it helps. Truman, I have experienced the same thing with my gas posts although...

    Leaky keg post?

I don't know what brand they are... My local shop has a LOT of Keg King stuff. One is black plastic and the other one is stainless (with a black plastic cover), I suspect more than likely both KK. Question is, how do I 100% identify the problem and then what can I do about it?

    Leaky keg post?

I have recently bought a new Keg King 19L corny keg. I am having trouble with a leak that seems to come from between the beer out disconnect and the post. I have 2 kegs in my fridge and both of them use a coupler that mounts a tap directly to a disconnect. I assumed after seeing my first...

    ball valves or float switches

Good to know, recirculating a mash isn't recirculating water though... Have you used one of these for that purpose? If you can vouch for them not blocking with grain I'd be keen to buy one off you (if you have a spare to sell) Cheers

    ball valves or float switches

Are those food safe at mashing temperatures? I'd like to install some type of float control through the lid (already have a hole there!) of my round 44L esky. I am a bit dubious that the valve would work properly at that angle though... Another consideration is that the downward facing outlet...

    Ebay Filter, any good?

Thanks for the info. I have only recently moved to kegging and I have found that my normal 3-4 days cold conditioning isn't enough to drop enough yeast out of suspension, at least not until a week or two in the keg. I will take another look at the craft brewer one. I am enjoying the immediacy...

    Cleaning a keg jumper line?

I have only just recently made the switch to kegging and I love it! Last night I wanted to use the Craftbrewer carbonator cap to counter pressure fill a PET bottle. I made up a jumper hose with 4mm line and two liquid diconnects, it worked a charm :) Problem is, the line is full of beer that...
