    32 litre boil with stainless steel heating element rated at 2200W?

    thanks for your replies guys. the test volume was only 24L. i dont think that was the issue. could be the peak time issue. from now on im going to boil for 75 mins. as it turns out my boil off rate for 1 hour is 3.2 L. i thought this was a bit low. aah well see what happens on the next brew day...

    ok guys, so a little help here, i have a 2200w element second edition from keg king. Its been over an hour and the temp has been stuck at 94C for the past 10 mins. I would have thought that the boil would have been achieved earlier plus more closer to the 100C + mark. The element is clean so...

    I know that about crash chilling but after 10 days of brewing at 20C i thought it was done! but for next time I know not to guess these things bottle arent cool you should see my wrist from a previous bottle explosion. cheers for the tip.

    Hey all have just had something similar happen,my og gravity reached higher than the expected by 7 points. now it has stalled after a d rest and of course a crash chill. when i checked the gr it was stuck at 1032 at 6C. I ramped the temp up to 20C again and pitched 1 pack of us05.no action but...

    Tony,ive got the wyeast bavarian wheat yeast in the fridge do you think that will do the job for this beer? I used the same yeast for a hoegaarden.....(shaking head) i knew as soon as i tasted it it wasnt the right one. Your beers look impressive. Parko
