    Ginger Beer Question

Thanks everyone, I had wondered if it would make any difference so your above answers confirm what I thought. Typically a waste. I will just add extra ginger etc along with some other bits and pieces similar to the Kingsley's brew. Appreciate your help, Gary

    Ginger Beer Question

Hi all, Just a quick question. I have 2 x Morgans Ginger Beer Cans which I need to use. Can I use the two in together to increase flavour? Still just keep the same amount of water top up (as you would for a single brew) , but use everything else the same? Cheers GAry

    Ginger beer + extras

Hi mate, I bought one of these a couple of weeks ago and put it down last Sunday. I didn't do anything special to it as I wanted to just see what it was like without adding anything to it. I figured that it will give me a good base to work from and then add to next batch. Will let you know how...

    Brigalow ginger beer kit

Hi mate, Yes that was the intent. It still didn't taste too bas TBH. I suppose I'll find out in a couple of weeks when it's 'ready'.

    Brigalow ginger beer kit

Cheers mate. Yeh I was really happy with the colour and clarity. I was worried as it really seemed to go off quick (as far as yeast goes). But the FG would seem to tell me that it was all good. I did knock the sugar (brown) as I thought the Buderim cordial had enough in it. The other thing I...

    Brigalow ginger beer kit

Just an update P. I did as you had, interesting though, my SG was 1025 , and FG was about the 0095. I noticed that you'd said you scooped the ginger off the top, however mine had all settled to the bottom and was clear. Tasted and smelt pretty good. Bottled yesterday after 6 days, so will see...

    Ginger beer FG

Hi all, Just came across this. My original SG was 1.025 I had added yeast to a small jug prior and it was working fine. Added to main brew and it seemed to be bubbling but I wouldn't say going off by any means, but was cloudy and seemed to be okay. Its only been 5 days since putting it down...

Cheers mate, Yep that's what I think I'll do too! It's good that people will give a hint here and there for something to try, sharing the love.

    Brigalow ginger beer kit

Cheers mate, I'd heard that they need a bit of something to give a bit more flavour so I'll give it a go. I have all of the stuff to add the extra so may as well try.

    Low Carb Ginger Beer

Cheers Lefty, So if I'm correct (and please excuse my newbiness) it's possible to decrease 'carb content' and thus ABV but still obtain something that is okay by using the AMG Enzyme (what is this please?). It's worth having a crack even if I can knock back a few carbs and sugar content...

    Brigalow ginger beer kit

Hi mate, I'm in Oz and I have just found a couple of Brigalow kits at Woolworths so was going to give them a go first. I see what you mean about the Buderim Ginger cordial and I found some here as well. My thoughts were similar to yours in adding that for the flavour, however it's got a fair bit...

    Low Carb Ginger Beer

New Member Post. Learned members, I am hoping to see if I can do a low carb/low sugar ginger beer. I have enjoyed Ginger Beer for many years and I would like to make my own and try and knock the sugar content down but still maintain the alcohol percentage if possible. I see some awesome recipes...
