    State of the Goonion

No doubt, this is gonna stir the hornet's nest. I'm about to attend the Ballarat beer festival, in full knowledge that at least 50% of the cost of my ticket is going to fund the polititians that are currently engaged in importing the only people in the world that want to kill me and my family...

    saflager s23 lager time

Thanks guys, I should have mentioned that it was a powdery, acidic aftertaste left in the middle of the tongue. I was a bit worried about it, but raised the temp slowly up to 16 and I can't detect it any longer. I'll have another taste in the morning to be sure.

    saflager s23 lager time

Chewy, my first time using this yeast and i've noticed a bit of an aftertaste in the fermented beer. It's been fermenting at 12° for a bit over 2 weeks and i've just raised temp to 14° over 2 days to let the yeast clean up - are you suggesting it needs to go to 18? Do you have more info?

    New 4wd - Decisions.....

As a libertarian, these are my issues with urban 4wd and suv: They are subsidized more than any other class of vehicle. They rip up and destroy suburban roads more than anything else. Therefore, I believe they should be available only at true cost, unsubsidized, and only allowed on sealed...
