Where is RecipeDB/ 10 Min amarillo IPA

In the recipe notes it says that the 10 min IPA was inspired by the recipe at "http://www.homebrewchef.com/AmarilloPale.html". That page no longer exists but it can be viewed with the Wayback machine at https://web.archive.org/web/20151031070944/http://www.homebrewchef.com/AmarilloPale.html I...

Come on then, how do I cook a really good steak?

Or you could try Sous vide: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sous-vide. Cryovac your meat and immerse in a accurately temp controlled water bath at about 55C for 5+ hours depending on the cut. Just sear in a very hot pan when you are ready to eat. Perfect steak every time. Pasteurized as well. I...

    Never Wet

According to the whitepaper available for reading at http://www.scribd.com/doc/73203915/NeverWet-White-Paper-General the product seems quite durable. Withstands high and low temps and bending. Impressive stuff! Rust-oleums website shows it available at Bunnings but I could not find it on their...

    Scum Skimming

I am a skimmer for a couple of reasons. 1. I brew double batches in a 71L kettle so headspace is at a premium and as mentioned previously it seems to reduce the chance of a boilover. 2. On the one occasion that I did have a boilover I noticed that the crud solidified into an unpleasant looking...

    RIP Doc Neeson

I will always have a soft spot for Doc and The Angels. They headlined one of the 1st concerts I ever went to (at the age of 18). It was billed as "The last great concert of the 80's" (being on new years eve 1989). God I am OLD. I still have the poster hangin on the wall. Have been to see...

Gigantic beehive in Penn Brewery wall

I have to drape a spare bit of terrylene over my pot during the boil to keep bee's from suiciding in the wort. They hover around (and sometimes land on) the grain bag while I am hoisting it as well.

    Bottlers using gelatine and polyclar

Now that you mention it I can't swear that the pic was taken from a bottle pour as I both keg and bottle (most likely a keg pour). A careful pour from a well aged bottle gives me a very good clear result anyways. I used to get "urgh, it's cloudy" comments from my fussy ******* megaswilling mates...
