One way to approach this next brew day, is take a sample pre boil and post boil, seal them and let them cool to room temp and measure both at the same temperature with your refracometer and a hydrometer.

I've got 3 big RIS stouts on the go at the moment, and I'm aging 2 of them on oak chips (presoaked in whisky). The 3rd I just added the resulting whisky (after the presoaking) but left the wood out. I'm now wondering the best way (once the aging has completed) of avoiding oak chips in...
My previous entries have all been bottled conditioned, it that favourable then filling bottles straight from the keg ? As I have some kegged beers that would be good to submit.
I'm very happy with my Jockeybox (plate chiller style), still has (some) Ice in it 3 days later and after kicking 3-4 kegs. It's just on the large size.

I've pressured tested it but not used it yet, will be in a few weekends time. I don't have a license so use public transport a lot, so wheels makes my life a little easier.
Started and completed my cold plate jockey box setup on Sunday. I went with the Keg King cold plate kit but upgraded to the flow control Intertaps (hoping that gives me a little leeway to tweak the pours).
I really wanted a Esky on wheels but found a number of them wouldn't fit the cold plate...
