Highly recommend Cascade in Portland, awesome sours. (Went back a second time to try the rest). Baileys Taproom in town had a good range Beermongers was cool (bar and bottleshop), Apex is nearby... not to everyones tastes.

One way to approach this next brew day, is take a sample pre boil and post boil, seal them and let them cool to room temp and measure both at the same temperature with your refracometer and a hydrometer. Compare results.

Nice I actually have 2 of them I use for cleaning my gear, I haven't actually tried to fill a bottle with one. But great idea.

My previous entries have all been bottled conditioned, it that favourable then filling bottles straight from the keg ? As I have some kegged beers that would be good to submit.

Hey Dan, I've pressured tested it but not used it yet, will be in a few weekends time. I don't have a license so use public transport a lot, so wheels makes my life a little easier.

Just wanted to ask the dumb question - how did you prime the bottles ? Sugar, carb drops or bulk priming ?

Might be some people have mates supplying with with empty TK vessels so once you've modded it the 'kegs' are free or close enough to it ?
