    Aussie vs German

To all who've used both German and Aussie wheat malt, how would you note the difference? I've always used Weyermann and really love the authentic German style wheat beers but recently ordered a bag of barrett Burston, hoping it's going to at least be similar

German wheat vs. Belgian yeasts: what's the big diff?

WLP300 tastes like dry Belgian T-58 to me. Am I missing something? Looking to brew a tripel this weekend and considering pitching the 300 on hand. From memory 58 is a higher attenuating yeast and apparently more 'peppery' but I'm not certain the difference is noticeable after a few weeks on tap...

    Keg King kegerator series 4

Yes, in the tropics it can sit above 35 for a few months and humidity makes it difficult too. I like how you guys are keen to listen and it's a yes from me on your current suggestions. I actually assumed being series 4 all the bugs would be sorted so it's a bit dissapointing unfortunately...

    Keg King kegerator series 4

Yes, warmer being far less carb. I've used calculators to achieve desired carb at the lowest temp so in reality, should be undercarbed at 5-6

    Not satisfied with kegerator carb

Cheers guys, the fridge is only 7 months old, a series 4 kegerator so I 'assume' fan is posistioned well. Just removed the check valve and pressure read 14psi as it did with the valve, in which case that is too high at 1-2 degrees the system has been sitting at since calibration before summer...

    Keg King kegerator series 4

Well yes you were right, there was a bit of ice built up on the plate so I left it off to thaw for half an hour, now 7hrs later it hasn't gotten cooler than 6 degrees.. Lol this thing. It's warm, but not styfling hot outside. It does cool to 2 overnight but as soon as it begins warming up it...

    Keg King kegerator series 4

Had mine probably 7-8 months now and has been difficult to perfect. The back keg the fan blows on must be getting colder than the other two because it's slowly overcarbed.. This kegerator really is getting on my nerves a bit. Whats everyone doing to prevent this? I thought about putting a piece...

Update, the back keg the fan blows on must be getting colder than the other two because it's slowly overcarbed.. This kegerator really is getting in my nerves a bit. Whats everyone doing to prevent this? I thought about putting a piece of coroflute over to shield, or perhaps even getting a...

    Not satisfied with kegerator carb

Well I've been at 13-14psi, 1-2 degrees Celsius for a few days now, perfect!! So I take it that one way valve is stealing about 4psi from the inlet.. Or the reg is a little out aswell Thanks so much guys, you've really helped a Brother out. Cheers!!

    Not satisfied with kegerator carb

Well my calculator say 10ft. Sorry you feel hurt, there's really no need to be bitter, it only hurts yourself as you hold onto it. No one else. Just let it go and be happy man :) try it for yourself. I'll be hitting the ignore button over your name because I'm tired of negative people online, I...

    Not satisfied with kegerator carb

I've put a glass of water on a towel, in front of the kegs, with the fan on, it seems to be coming together thanks to Mark's advice so far. When I last did this the fan was off and water sat on the back platform, this is when I 'calibrated' it. Today, the glass of water actually reads 7 degrees...

    Not satisfied with kegerator carb

Maybe you didn't take time to read my post Onemore. The brew store owner cut these lines, and he's not known for being any good locally whatsoever. It didn't come like this from factory and no one seems to be able ro say confidently how to run a series 4 kegerator, despite them all being...

    Not satisfied with kegerator carb

Ok, I bought a series 4 kegerator about 6 months ago. It came with 5ft lines, poured a bit quick and at 12psi most of the carb came out of solution and alot of head. Lower psi was lacklustre, higher only worsened the problem, and still ended up flat as a tack Long story short, I lengthened the...

Dangerous "Kegland" sticker on Co2 bottle

Thanks Kegland. I did feel that it was mostly fearmongering and something just didn't sit quite right. You guys have always been incredibly good to me so far in all/any dealings. Even one order I did not long ago with a bad regulator you took back right away just asking for a quick vid of the...

Dangerous "Kegland" sticker on Co2 bottle

Having just bought 2 new co2 bottles I'm now fearing trying to refill them. Where is the 5 or 10 - year stamp date refillers look for? Do I need to bring my receipts with me, or? By looks of things, my Keg King cylinders have the brass insert that prevents full co2 exhaustion too, how do people...
