If you go down the poly pipe route, make sure you use grade 18 PVC, the local plumbing supply shop told me that this would handle the heat and is food safe. Been working fine for a coupla years without any heat distortion problems. Apparently the lower grades have a higher lead content. can...

I was in Cairns just before x-mas and other than the 3 Leffe beers that I found, I picked up the world beers 6 pack, had a few different ones in it than the one pictured above.... Drank them all but one, nothing particularly memorable... :( The one I didnt drink - Carlsberg Elephant - Putrid...

Hi Brewers, I smacked a pack of Wyeast 1388 Belgian strong on Friday night, was nearly puffed up by sunday lunchtime. Got home last night, planning to pitch into a starter, an overwhelming smell of yeast permeating the room.......found the pack sitting on my desk, desktop covered in yeast...

Sometimes I leave the sparge for 15 minutes sometimes 30, I always get about 5% more efficiency when I leave it the extra 15 minutes. If you have a well insulated Tun, it shouldnt loose any heat over 30 minutes. Cheers, :beer: Crispy
