Hey mate I have the same trouble at times, if your setup allows you to I take the outlet hose off and blow back into the pipe whilst it is on and struggling, takes a bit of effort but works every time, I presume it's clearing an airlock when I do this. regards, Norto

Yeah... Can't say that I have ever tasted it in the finished product but has worked for me for the last 4 years so I shan't be changing anytime soon. Although maybe I should use starsan at least once and see if there is a difference.

Have you tried to put the grain and bag in first and then underlet the water(bring it in from the bottom) I under let my mash tun and have never had Dough ball problems, as has been said though could be I have a courser crack of the grain. Norto

Did you use the tablets or the bottle of solution? Only uses 2 tablets for 4 Litres, I have always used it, how does it compare to something like Starsan for price?

Hey Fellas, Not sure if it's been mentioned but I just use Milton Tablets, Same as they use for Baby Bottles. 2 tablets per 4 litres and is no rinse Sanitizer I figure if they can use it for babies right from the start must be good enough for my beer, and touch wood no infections to date...
